•The Master's Degree Course in Molecular Biotechnology includes a single curriculum, see the List of Courses. The course has a normal duration of 2 years. The student's activity corresponds to the achievement of 60 credits per year. The student who has in any case obtained 120 credits, fulfilling all the provisions of the Master's Degree Course in Molecular Biotechnology, can achieve the title even before the two-year deadline.

•12 ECTS are reserved for the activities chosen autonomously by the student: the choice of these activities is free, but must be motivated to demonstrate its consistency with the training project pursuant to Article 10 paragraph 5 a) of the Ministerial Decree 22/10/2004 n.270. The Degree Course Council reserves the right to verify this consistency and to accept the student's study plan. The activities chosen autonomously correspond, as a rule, to University courses provided by the University of Florence. Each year, the degree course may indicate a list of courses, among those activated at the University, which, due to their admission requirements and their organization, are particularly suitable for free choice by students.

•24 credits are reserved for the final exam, divided into 18 credits for experimental work and 6 for the writing of the final paper and discussion. The summary of the activities is reported in table form, see the list of courses.
